Topic: Steelhead in Nicomekl or Serpentine? |

I've heard that the is fishing in the nicomekl or Serpentine Rivers for Steelhead. Any ideas of where and when I might target these beauties?
Any imput is helpful...Thanks

You would be hard pressed to find steelhead in those two streams and should there be any it would be best to leave them alone. Both rivers (Serpentine especially) have a difficult time sustaining a healthy fish population of any sorts due to a host of reasons. I would encourage you to find other rivers or streams that are in better shape (numbers wise) to catch those elusive fish. Tight LInes!

check the regs for the little campbell river in white rock/south surrey. there might be oppurtunities for steelhead in that small system. not sure though.

Any ideas about decent spots in the Little Campbell river? Is it the same time of year as Vedder etc.?

tklein...the little campbell winds through native indian land in whiterock so finding fishable spots is a little tricky. i don't want to start guessing on possible fishing spots so it might be best to ask the local tackle shop for best locations and techniques.
