I dont mean this in a bad way , but why do you keep asking the same question over and over about greentimbers lake, this time of year i highly doubt your gonna get anything out of there, i understand you cant get around but that lake SUCKS, i fished there a few times caught some fish but really nothing to right home about, best lake to practice is latimer lake (if there is water in it ever again who knows)and with that lake you can go into the water there, at greentimbers your not allowed in the water, i would just give up on that lake its not worth it seems like your pretty pumped about greentimbers but from past expeirence its not worth the time , try and get out to latimer lake in the summer/ spring you will be alot happier providing there is water

I used to fish in latimer lake very often. Caught something there. But I wish there is a bus stop there so I dont have to ask my mom for ride.

What! But in this forum I heard someone talking about fishing in Surrey Lake. Does fishing only stop in winter?

your not allowed to fish surrey lake. its a major route for chum, coho, steelhead and cutthroat trout and it connects with bear creek which is also no fishing.fi-do....try the fraser river and chuck a spoon in there during high and low tide or the nicomekyl river/serpentine river. check the regs to see if they are open. having no transport really does suck especially if you want to fish alot.

Great. Finally there is someone telling me how to catch fish in Fraser. I live very close to mid-section of Fraser river, only about 10 min bike. But there are many lumber cover the shore and I dont know if I could catch anything there, even some coarse fish will be alright.

Umm.. yak & el-nino.. Surrey Lake is not mentioned in the 2004-2005 regulations. Therefore it is open to fishing. (unless it goes by some other name?) Bear Creek is mentioned and is only closed above 152 St.

Hmm. The provincial stocking report doesn't mention it, and it doesn't even show up as a lake on the FishWizard. So is it a local (municipal) regulation preventing fishing? I didn't know they could do that. The City of Surrey web site is very unhelpful - all it has is a PDF with a proposed map of the area.
