Release reports for the last two seasons show that kok's have been intoduced to Yellow Lake. I think that release dates back a little further. Yesterday I saw 8-10" kok's near the surface, and there were quite a few showing seasonal coloring.
There were also perch, and we caught one on a fly, hope that the lake is not spoilt by this invasive species. Kok's are welcome but I hope the lake does not have to be poisoned to get rid of the perch.
Fishing was quite poor and the weather was damp cool and overcast, but it was good to be out again after a busy summer.
