last friday and sunday I spent a few hours each day walking around mid river(crossing bridge above and below) spent alot of time walking to check for deeper holes n holding spots here and there but had the line wet for most of the day aswell. no salmon, eagles, seagulls, or other anglers, only saw two colored up red springs go by me and 6 ambitious hungry trout. Im sure there are some salmon in the system but hard pressed to say that anything besides sockeye and red springs have shown up in numbers yet. anyone been down at the mouth in a boat last few days??

Had one to the boat today but lost it at the net. Seen two guys beside me hit 5 in an hour. We were anchored just west of the port Mann firing spoons.

Wouldnt reccomend the vedder tried the crossing, keith wilson ans upper rivee. Saw one fish landed all day and it was a snagger

When they do come in, hot pink wool under a float is a good way to catch 'em.

Well i got into about 20 this weekend, in two days. But the guy beside me didnt get one. He was using pink wool. I was using some hand made stuff. no a couple fly guys got one or two a day.

Pegleg is only accessible by boat, still can't drive or walk out yet.

You can walk to pegleg. Driving hasnt been possible for few years water is too deep at end of road. Place really is a last resort as its a gongshow of newbies mostly. Not all, but alot. You can leave more stressed than you showed up, which is not how it is supposed to work. My buddy likes it cause he likes to help people and give clinics while there, Im not too patient enough for that most days tho I dont mind helping the guys I see want it.

Guys have been walking out there since the early summer, just walk on rocks on left at end of road or cut thru little campground and your there. The flow was great last time I was there, the day they shut it down.
