ran into 5 bears today while fishing before work..landed a doz or so and a coho snapped my leader..went with the 7wt switch today..goodtimes

pink comet and handlebar..also ive been tying pink buggers and pink head leeches..getting slammed..hooked into 2 coho with the leeches

sounds like a dry line and 8ft leader will work fine..let it sink abit then a very slow retrieve...watch your line..very slowly retrieve until the slack is gone..then wait 10 seconds or so and repeat..you should do just fine..here are some of what are working for me..got hone late from work so tied a couple this morning

usually id ise black rabbit..but went with pink on this one..Im not the best at tying..still learning..but my flies tend to catch fish!! wait till winter and you hook into winter steelhead on the fly !! awesome

floating line and weighted flies otherwise you'll snag a lot of fish, also consider a clouser: pink over white polar bear w/gold body and tail, way less snags

had a great afternoon fishing..landed 20 pink..but the catch of the day is this beauty cutthroat and the bear walking by in the background..haha
