Parking can be a bit of a challenge. I get there at five o six am, and I haven't gotten a spot. I park on the side of the highway.
Uses buzz bombs. Ten to twelve pounds line. I uses 8 pounds and it snapped on me a few times.
I tried 20 pounds braided line on my cheapo 30 dollars spin cast reel, which was three days old, but it sorta not good. So, I am returning it to canadian tire. I suggust 10 to 12 pound line.
Pink buzz bombs seems to be what the ppl there uses 99.9 percent of the time.
Salt water fishing license with salmon tag (25 plus 6 plus tax)

Ya they came pretty early this year . I went a couple times and did pretty good . Pink salmon taste good just gotta cook them right . I went to squamish river yesterday hooked about 5 fish on the powerbait 3" pink worm . Heavy weighted lures dont really work there as the water clarity is not good , so the lure will pass by the fish without the chance for a bite .

You do know there is a BAIT BAN on the Squamish River right?
SFG regs 2013
And you do know that any "Powerbait" product is considered bait right?
It's rather weak if you need to use bait in a river or any waterbody for that matter.
I only use flies and usually out-fish the gear chuckers.

Thanks for the response back , i cant blame anyone but myself . Now just gotta use unscented pink worms , i never beleived scent made a difference in the flowing river
