hey everyone this is my first year going after the pinks. First day out yesterday spent a few hours on the mamquam and squamish and got this pink here. My question is when do the pinks start to enter the lower tidal fraser, around delta and Richmond??
thanks for your time

Not much action at the Cap. I think most of the people headed up to Furry Creek to fish for the pinks. I heard early morning is best. Seems like the fish are in closer at that time.

For Fraser river info, I like to check out the Albion test fisheries website:

and:

The Albion has its value, but it is meant for springs. They use a larger mesh so most of the pinks and sockeye slip right through

mid to late august is a good time to start chucking flies or gear what ever you are into.

thanks guys! also, may sound stupid but I was wondering. Most ppl toss out pink spinners, buzz bombs, spoons. Do these fish take much that is NOT pink? or is it just sort of a theory ppl have going that the pink colours always work better? I also happened to catch mine on a pink lure. May be a stupid question but just wondering
