Hi guys and gals,
I'm new to sharphooks and clearly you guys know how to fish, looking at all the great catches. I, think I've found a beauty spot on the river, saw 2 fish come right out of the water. What am I using to catch these bastards? I tried scented Jensen eggs, worms. I'm spin casting. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Roe sacks, or just roe should do the trick, use a short leader.

Roe, wool, prawns, and check the regs out there. There is lots of sockeye in there, good chance thats what you saw, but you can't keep them.

I bumped up a few old posts which should be helpful. abe also did a thread on setting up a float etc for salmon. if I find it I will also bump it up.
