Author Topic: Munro Lake, very low level
pajeff

Just been up to Munro Lake near Peachland, off the Summerland/Princeton road. The lake was 10-12 feet below the level when I visited last year and was still being drained. I can only guess that there was a danger of it breaking it's banks but it was well below danger level.

The fish we landed were very healthy looking rainbows but it was quite slow. Ospreys were trying their luck as well as an eagle or two. I guess they were wating for the level to get so low that the fish would be giving themselves up.

Anyone else fished this lake?
