a few pinks have been caught down deep just outside the bay ..cant wait till they show up on the beaches..ordered my new 7wt echo switch combo today with the scandi versitip..gonna be a blast..might have to wait till next payday to get new line for the 4-5wt beluah switch...this hobby is getting expensive...haha...coho are being caight at the wharf..so awesome watching them cruise by..!!

I heard some pretty positive reports about pinks a little bit north already. Should be a fun year thats forsure. Been hitting the bench pretty hard just throwing all sorts of things together. Weird how they hit those little handlebars.

its going to be awesome !! I need to hit the vise soon too..going to have to order hooks n material next pay..gotta think on the coho flies too

spent last evening buzz bombing off the dock with my bro..saw a kid hook into and loose a pink..my bro wanders off the the shoreline and sees the schools of pinks..they finally arrived !!! saw 4 caught...heading to the beach tonight with the switch rod ..was talking to the hatchery guy the other day..he says its gonna be a huge season with big fish..cant wait !! I didnt get here until october last year and saw the tail end of the season..all just zombies dying in the river..there were tons of fish..and that was tbe 'off' year...this season should be crazy..so excited !!

Good to hear. Lots of people have been catching them around here as well. I've hooked two now only went out for an hour though. They are gobbling up presentations though lots of fish to the beach from what i saw. Sparse flies are key from what i have seen.
