water temps have to come up and they still have to recover from the spawn, and then it's topwater time!i'm definitly going to fish the next 4 full moons w/black frogs!heres another hawg for y'all, 2 years ago, lost this one, came back 40 min later and pinned her and got my previous hook and worm outta her!!! didnt hace my scales w/me that day but she gotta go 6.5plus!!

i cant really help you there as i am a guest myself,sorry
i also dont fish it much in the summer unless i go full moon which i always do and again in the fall when the boat traffic stops, or before first light til 6 am and hit their precious docks

Has anyone tried fishing the other side of the highway at Silvermere Lake(ie South of Lougheed Hwy)?
I tried it once last summer. The second my lure hit the water, there was large wakes all around it. I'm sure they were bass. But then I always ended up catching large pikeminnow (one on every cast). Maybe the pikeminnows are faster and greedier?
