Hey everyone, i know pink salmon season starts mid august whicvh im very excited for but i am just curious when salmon start to trickle in around point roberts wa? i fished there last year but i didnt start till around mid july and that was my first year so im sort of oblivous too when the season is there? also if there are any other salmon oppurtunities starting nowish, bare in mind i only have a 14' aluminum with 15 hp...

Im not sure about point roberts but here on the north end of vancouver island the spring salmon are starting to get caught in the bay and out around the smaller islands..also its halibut time..still slow cause its early..but definately some being caught..chinooks should start to trickling in soon too..Id say its prime time for fishing the estuaries for sea-run cutthroat..and theres a couple late rivers loaded with sweet winter steelhead right now till end of month....again
..this is my area..id think some of my info would apply to your area...goodluck out there..tightlines.
