Hi Everyone
I have never been on Stave Lake and heard it is really nice out there.
Does anyone now how the fishing is and where on the lake is the best spot to go.
Also does anyone know the best way up the lake as I have heard lots of stumps

you are correct in saying there are a lot of deadheads etc. just keep right in the channel which is marked .
I haven't fished there in 30 years but there were some posts on here a year ago . there are nice dollies which are best fished with a downrigger I believe and also trout. it is very beautiful once you get up to the lake. be carefull though. some wicked storms can come up. maybe someone else will volunteer some more info. let us know if/when you go.

you can fish across from the boat launch and troll up the shore line just follow the markers when you get up to the first big point you can go into the inlet lots of fish in there I usually go up to the power station that's where the big fish are you need to fish deep cagey is correct this lake can blow up quick just need to pay attention and you will be fine we have fished there for years no problems

Will keep all that in mind, it's I either go to Stave Lake or Pitt Lake.
Will be heading out early Saturday morning
Then Sunday I go to Kilby with the family

The lake was a bit windy so we fished the channel coming back.
Lots of fish,willbe going back as there was no boat traffic at all.
