Salmon Opportunities - Fraser River Non-Tidal waters
Effective October 15 until December 31, 2004, in the non-tidal waters of the Fraser River (Highway No. 1 Bridge at Hope upstream to the confluence with Sawmill Creek) you may retain:
*
two hatchery coho per day (retention of wild coho is prohibited); *
four chinook per day, only one of which may be greater than 50 cm; *
two chum per day; and *
four pink per day.
These opportunities are being provided on hatchery Coho only and do not pose a threat to upper Fraser and Thompson River Coho stocks as they have already migrated through the lower Fraser River.
Fishing for salmon in the non-tidal waters of the Fraser River is allowed during daylight hours only, from one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset. Please check your local paper for sunrise and sunset times.

try spincasting with lures as well. i have caught coho on blue fox spinners as well croc spoons. color is an issue so always change up regularly to see what works.

bar rod setup. instead of the spin"n"glo you can use straight globs of roe.

why does it say you can retain 4 pinks? I thought they only go through the Fraser in odd numbered years?

i think there is only a strong run of pinks in the odd years the run is just smaller this year then in odd years
