I was up there today. I saw a dad who was fishing on the beach, two boys doing boy things along the shoreline beside the dad, a black lab, and 2 women sitting on chairs watching the guys.
The dad got a fish(about 12-14 inches), landed it, snapped it's head, cut out the gills and insides throwing them into the lake. He kept the fish in the lake until leaving time.
Well...the youngest boy (8-10 years old) didn't have any control of the dog (on leash) and pulled across the fish, possibly stepping on it. Dad got all pissed off and started yelling at the kid. He then grabbed the fish tried drop kicking it back into deeper water. But he failed, then picked it up and tossed it.
What a waste of a life. No respect.
I was sooooo tempted to say something about it... but since my car was parked within sight, he could have seen what I was driving and make a special trip to vandalize it if he had the chance, so I just bit my tongue.
I left before they did.
Disgusting.

thats crazy...just another reason i feel blessed to live where i live..pretty much have rivers/lakes to myself
