anybody have a good pattern for the newly stocked rainbows...im new to fly fishing and im dying to catch something

When I fished Como as a kid, any dark nymph would do well.Those stocked bows are just a matter of getting something in front of them

I was at Sasamat today and they were loving my red doc spratly. Use size 8-10

I live down the road from Como and fish it regularly. I too Fly fish and am successful with any Olive green pattern with gold, red or Orange bead.
I just got myself a Fly Tying Kit so I cant wait to try out my own flies.
