last week the steelheading was fantastic..landed 2 on th fly and 4 on gear... then it rained for 2 days..fish 3days so far this week...not even a hit..then to top it all off while wading waist deep today...not sure how it happened but i ended up on my ass in the river..cold..maybe i will stay home tomorrow...nah..ill go steelheading !!

I hear ya, I only got out a few times last week after work, both times out for about an hour and played with fish, lost one and landed a nice wild. nothing so far this week but we will see what today after work and tomorrow bring.

time to change up tactics that's all. it went from low and clear, to high with low vis. I ended up with one before work this morning. this will actually be good for the river with rising water and some good tides coming up we should get a good push of fish throughout the river. should be back to better vis next week

exactly. this rain is a blessing. switch up tactics/spots. they've just moved is all.
i feel your pain in regards to fallin in haha. i had a shitty day this winter fishin cutties. got skunked all day and to top it off i ended up on my knees and almost filled right up with water.... some douche bag figured it would be a good idea to throw a massive blue blanket into the alouette...
