cagey

oh well at least he ate well!
Eagle 1

I was there Wed Feb 27 12:00h-1530h overcast, dry.

The chironomids had hatched. There were swarms of them all over. They covered my pontoon boat and truck. Littered the water surface. Water temp 7'c. Some risers, but not many

I had tried about 8 diff flies, and all I caught were weeds.

I was in the 4-6 meter depth range, and my sonar was beeping like crazy, so there was no shortage of fish hiding out about the 3 meter depth.

My setup wasn't right. Perhaps the fish had gorged and were not interested in my offering.

I'll head back there as soon as time permits.
