| We arrived late morning, about 9:30am, and proceeded to put my canoe into the water. We trolled much of the lake, but achieved the best results when docked on the second island, fishing in the area between the two islands. The fish were hitting almost the instant that the worm hit the water.
We also had some results along the shore line on the west side of the lake.
This lake is not extremely busy yet, but as the weather gets warmer and the days get longer you can expect the number of people at this lake to increase dramatically.
It is pay parking at this lake: If you get there early it is $1 to park until noon, or $5 for the entire day. PAY PARKING IS ENFORCED HERE!
