| Perfect early spring day. great to finally get out fishing after a long off season. Fishing with Timofthee and three other party member. Managed to grab 29 fish between the five of us.
Most of the action was around mid lake. I was the only one that had luck on both the fly and casting gear. A simple black wooly bugger with some green sparkle tailing on it got a bunch of nibbles and a catch right off the north end of the gravel bar. Retrieved a foot at a time with a small pause in between. As for the casting, good old pink spoons. Never fail, medium retrieve. Had most of my luck around 10 meters off shore.
Good start to a season. Managed to pick the the only sunny day in arainy pattern.
