| I am surprised that this lake is not much more popular than it is. I fishedd both deer and hicks lakes today and caught nothing... then I went to this (Trout) lake and caught a 13 incher, two 9inchers, and one 7 incher(I had to keep it because it litterally swallowed the hook)in a few hours. The only method that seemed to work was using lots of weight and a couple feet of leader to float a REAL worm up from the bottom. Overall I found this to be an excellent lake with geat fishing.
