| The weather was pretty mixed sun and clouds. We caught a decent Dolly Varden, first for us. Also snagged a couple mini Rainbows, one got off because I was setting the weight on the line when he hit and caused the line to wrap around the tip and the second was released at the boat. This lake is full of snags so we lost 2 other Lyman's (one I just got for my birthday and unwrapped today) 3 1oz weights a small lake troll and a black wedding band. Slow fishing but this lake is not stocked and this was our second time to fish here and first time catching anything.
Another sidenote, the road is a piece of s#$t on the west side of the lake. It was not this bad previous years, it is to the point of truck only pretty much being littered with many softball to soccer ball sized boulders and many other sharp rocks. If you are only going as far as the 1, 2 or 3 mile campsites and stay on that access road it is decent (although very filled with potholes). The main FSR is a nightmare in a car though.
