i used an olive green TT all along the west side of the lake in early morning and late evening to catch the top water activity
i actually used a brown chrironomid allong the east shore of the lake at a depth of aprx 15-18 feet in 20-22 feet of water and was getting great results of fish up to 4lbs

fished this lake for about ten days and had great succsess with both top water and chriony fishing from the camp ground along the right side of the lake to about 3/4 of the way up the lake was great chroni fishing mid day when top water activity died down. i hat very little sucsess with chronies in the morning and evening. in the morning and evening the left side of the lake is extreamly active all along the shore with a few 2lb fish being pulled out virtually from shore i found an olive green tom thumb worked best. the fishing on the left side is best at ither end of the lake there is a big bunch of fallen trees at both ends and all the way along the shore. that is your best chance for top water fish. there is literally no top water action on the left side of the lake and i only caught one on a a chroni on the right. anyways happy fishing and if you follow this advice i am sure you will see results
