| The place is beautiful, but the fishing was very slow. I fished from 8am to 6pm and only caught 5 (only one over a pound) and 4 of those were within a half-hour period at midday. The only place that was relatively productive was the inflow creek. A small silver spinner knocked 'em dead for a while there. I would have killed for a float tube today. There were decent sized trout rising to mayflies out in the middle, and there I was with a fly rod and no way to get to them. Painful. Oh well, it was still a great day, but when I go back I'll either try the far (east) side of the lake or try to borrow a float tube from someone.
