| Today i went to hicks lake.Well i went to lake but decided to fish the beaver pond north of the lake.The fish were jumping all day.I have never been there before but it was nice.I drove in to a parking lot that said angler's park here.You have to pay $5.00 to park believe it or not.Good thing i brought change in my car. It doesn't take bills.But with the fish a jumping it was worth it.I went into the beaver pond.Make sure to bring Chestwaders because the lake is marshy with no spot to fish from shore.I fished the left side. I walk in as deep as possible and casted towords the middle.I used worms and it was easy fishin.Landed 3 rainbow , 2 (10inches) and 1 (12inches).I read that there are trout 16inches in there but due to my late start i left for home not even getting a chance to fish hicks lake.
