| Fine weather and mirror-like water conditions on my arrival but very soon the rain and wind moved in. Fishing the full creek mouths (the recent rain meant quite a lot of water coming into the lake) on the Eastern side of the lake but despite a lot of rising fish they were not taking anything of mine on the surface (and I went through a lot of patterns). A few small takers mid water on a sinking line (a lot of interest in the olive wb from the very small stuff) but the big boys were not coming out to play. Only one other boat on the water. Frustrating day - even the parking lot machine took my money and didn't give me a display ticket! BTW the road from the entrance to the park is currently in a very poor state of repair.
