| Crappy weather as the first cool days for weeks arrived (light rain and winds) and the lake was quiet - all the campers stayed away apart from a few brave kayakers and families fishing from the rocks near to the campsite. Fished the bays and was getting nowhere with anything until right at the end of my day I tried some olive wet flies...instant strong hit on a streamer and a nice bright rainbow came up to the boat before shaking the hook out - $#@*!!! A few casts later and an olive woolly B snagged another slightly smaller butu hard fighting fish - pristine fish with strong colours. Too bad I had to leave pretty much straight away but a nice finish to a frustrating few hours.
