| MY son and I went on Thursday and had a fun day even though we didn't catch anything. I think the water was to warm also. We forgot to bring worms witch was something I have never forgotten before , so we tried everything else from trolling a wedding band with a fake worm , power-bait , flies ,you name it we tried it ,lol. O-well. I have fished this lake before and have good success with a wedding band and a worm. Make sure you study the map of the lake before you venture out in your boat ! It is quite shallow in spots where you would think it would be deeper. If you have a fish finder with you make sure you keep an eye on it for depth ! Go slow. Lot's of fish in that lake but they weren't biting :(. Next time I will remember worms ! Also for parking take loonies and toonies with you and pay on the cash meter , the credit card one is screwed and doe's not give a reciept.
