| Water level in Fraser is dropping and fishing conditions on Herrling Island are ideal. You can cross the channel in waders and hike to the bar. There are several good places for casting at the top of the island. Fishing at first light will produce better results. While test fishing results show there are a lot of spings in Fraser, sport fishing didn't produce great results. Fishing should improve during the upcoming week and retention of Sockeye may be open as early as July 23. Tight lines!
