| I went up sunday night ...fished a few hours ....again in the morning ...hooked 5 smaller 8 inchers on a dry caddis adult..let it sink about 4 feet slow 6 inch line pulls...they were hitting on the second pull .......I had a doc sprat on in the deeper side ..about 50 feet of line(# 3 sinking ) had 3 fish on ...lost the first...the second broke my leader ...the 3rd ..my fly knot came out...there are big fish in this lake ...Im learning from my errors...already beefed up the leader and tippet ... I will go back in the fall ...the water is really warm right now...its a long drive for me to fish about 2 hours...cause thats how long there will any fish activity with this temp.
