| Lots of surface activity. Fish showed steady interest in a hand-tied, ugly and simple chironomid, weighted with brass wire, black body with a streak of red.
Mayfly hatch brought sharp increase in fish activity but couldn't tempt them with duns or mayfly patterns. Went back to the ugly hand-tied chironomid and caught fish.
