| A boat or in my case a kayak will be really helpful to cover all the potential bass hideouts near the lily pads. I focused on fishing for bass this time with small popper lure to entice the fish at top water. Small twitches and jerks in combination with pauses really did the job. It was such a rush seeing basses struck that popper with a splash. There were a few 1 pounders but oh boy there sure were many baby basses not much longer than my lure that attacked my popper without hesitation.
