| Went out to deer lake today, was raining most of the day. Fishing was good, lots of fish to the boat. Let a bunch of small ones go, and we took home a few over 12 inchs for dinner. Most fish in this lake don't get very big. Last year our biggest was 15 inchs. Just using a #3 + 4 flatfish, tried a few different colors, all seemed to work well. We trolled close to shore, along the side with a few creeks coming into the lake.
