Author Topic: Choosing Yoga Balls

I recently started practicing yoga, but one mat is not enough, you need additional accessories. Maybe someone can tell me how to choose yoga balls?

Your yoga ball should provide suitable support for performing asanas. It should be sufficiently stable and not deform when loaded. Before buying, you can try out the ball to make sure it provides the right support.

It is best to try several options before making a final decision. If you can, consult with an experienced yoga instructor or staff member at a specialty store for guidance and advice that suits your needs.

The practice of yoga is a wonderful way to find harmony between body and mind, to improve flexibility, strength and focus. And if you are already familiar with this wonderful art, perhaps sooner or later you will consider purchasing yoga balls.

Balls are available in a variety of sizes, and the right size matters. Usually choose a ball that matches your height. Balls are made of different materials such as vinyl, rubber or TPE (thermoplastic elastomer). It is important to choose a ball that provides good support and is strong enough for your practice.

Balls have varying degrees of stiffness. Some balls are softer and more supple, allowing you to stretch deeper and perform various asanas, while stiffer balls provide more stability and support.
