any one fish the stave river b4?..lemme know how u did?..gutter unit...!!
Fishin is bad medicine

I've fished it a couple times. Fish near the dam with a float. Lots of big squas in there and some trout. If the dam is open though, you might have to find a new spot, although I have seen people catching fishing even when the dam is open. good luck

we went to stave but the gat e was closed do to fire regs..so we headed to alloutte..blah!!right under the damn we will try next time..can u hike along the river or is that the spot?

you can try downriver of the dam although it's a little hard to get down to the river, unless you like wilderness hiking. I tried it and I couldn't hook anything. Mostly the fish are at the dam. Sorry i didn't know about the fire regs.
