Was up in squamish this past weekend and the wife snaped this pic of a snake. Just wondering if enybody can identify it for us, it's like nothing I have seen before. The tail is flat and the head looks like it should be the tail.

i think thats just a plain garden snake

it looks like one of those Kyanite snakes, i'm pretty sure that is what it is, there pretty rare.

Thanks for the info. I tried to find more about the kyanite snake but nothing, if anyone can tell me where i can find any info please let me know.

that would of made good bait, shoulda thrown it on the hook =)

It's a Worm Snake. Here is a link to confirm.


it is a rubber boa.i know it sounds weird but they do live around here.
