Going to Merrit for lake fishing this long weekend, I only have belly boat. Could any one suggest good lakes to try

CORBETT = Big rainbows

Last time I checked (long time ago) it was $15 to launch a belly boat on this fly only lake, but the fish are huge so it is well worth it.

Peterhope lake is fishing really well,the totem flyfishing club was up there on the weekend and did great.Good camping spots up logging road from lake if all sites are taken on long weekend.They took a couple 6 pounders but these guys fish the lake all the time.Some good under water shoals in centre of lake and trolling flatfish works as well as flyfishing some times.

Corbet lake is so busy right now that they won't accept drop ins. I phoned this morning and was politely told "no way". You can get in if you book a room in advance.
