Yes I have been to Corbett, I was in Merrit for a 2 week training camp and went to the lake 6-7 times while in town...great little lake...lots of big fish too!
I assume you need to know more than wether or not someone has been there, so post some specific questions and I am sure "we" can help.

it's a private lake and lodge. The owner Peter McVie has his own hatchery and he grows them big upto 16 pounds last year and predicted to have bigger fish this year. Last year we caught fish into the teens and lots of them. you can fish there for the day i think it's 50 bucks but it's a better deal staying there for a 100 dollars/ day. That includes breakfast and dinner(which is unreal) and accomodation. If the lodge is full he may not let day users to fish there so it's good to call ahead. Here is a corbett fish, measure at 25"

I haven't fished Corbett Lake for ten years or so. At that time the fish were average two to three pounds, sounds like things have improved greatly. Is it still a fly fishing only lake or has that changed. Wayne Hinton, Alta.

no website...i will be there may 2 and 3rd. Fishing there is good right from day one. I don't think he will have this years fish stocked by then. He usually has them stocked in mid may. He is expecting some fish in the 20pound plus.

Another thing, this is basically a C&R fishery. They really want the bigger fish to be released so others can enjoy catching trophy fish. 2fish limit but encourages people to take the smaller fish. And small there is 3pounds.

Just got back from Corbett last weekend (Aug. 6th, 7th, 8th). Try anchoring your boat over the deep bowl in the lake and drop a level 3 or 4 full sink line with a #10 black frostbite chironomid. Let the line sink right down below you and strip it SLOWLY up. Hold on tight!!!
