im fishing for rainbows they will be between 10 and 12 inches what size hooks should i use?

For rainbows of this size I would probably go with #8 - #12
But your choice might be influenced by the size of bait you are using. For dew worms you may have to go with size 8 or 6. Sliced-shank Baitholder hook might be helpful (see the picture).
Tight lines and sharp hooks!

you have to get some blue fox spinners the rainbows cant get enough of them, i dont put any bait on mine and i catch alot.as for size use a 0 or size 1 spinner

at the place i was fishing (south alouette river)they went for the blue colored blue fox spinner with a single hook i got 8 nice sized rainbows in 1 hour.

i see people there fly fishing all the time and i go alot, it is a good fishing river and i think you should put it on your site, i catch fish every time i go.

Where is this river (im gonna gues near the lake), and what is it like for wading. I fly fish 99% of the time, unless im beach buzzing for Hoes.
I was wondering what it is like for fishing, and whether or not it is worth my time.
Also, what flies work there?

Im not sure but I think your not supposed to fish the allouete river, I thought i saw it in the regs.
Or mabey it was the lower allouete r. from pitt river to somewhere...?
Just check the regs, ive lost my copy. please let me know.
