anyone know any good lakes for trolling or fly fishing up near highway 24?? i have a bellyboat and 4x4, we also have a small boat and motor????

Crystal Lake - This beautiful and small lake can be found approximately 5 kms (3 mi) southwest of neighbouring Bridge Lake on Hwy 24. Crystal Lake is known to be a good producer of trout up to 4.4 lbs. Although, a 14 lb rainbow is on record.

Found that on another site

Fishing pressure in Cariboo is less then in Lower Mainland and many lakes offer good opportunities. We are going to add some Cariboo lakes to SharpHooks later in the summer.

Don't forget your digital camera - it is always great to have lake photos here. We will try to implement an automatic submission of photos not only ot the Forum, but to lake pages as well.

Yes Wavey lake has excellent fishing for smaller fish (avg around 14")wild stock also. For a secluded fishing experience try Club lake south of Janice hike in access only. Most of the lakes up taweel lake fsr or Blowdown forest service road offer good action.Deka lake is good for Koks if you like to troll.Cheers.
