Hi all.
I made the first reply and after reading more of the site and forum realised that this is a very good site and what I am looking for in a forum.
Hope you will all accept me as a member.

The one to the right of the Mickey Finn would probably be a good one right about now. With all the fry hatching that'll be a killer! I think it's a good representation of any salmon fry.... Im gunn go tie one up right now..

btw...welcome to our forum Zig-Zag

the fly that i have been using right now on the harrison and fraser is a small tied down minnow (size 8 or 10)with a bit of krystal flash sticking out the back in both silver and green. and in the front i put two dragonfly eyes on both sides and a bit of orangey peach wool coming out underneath the front in a round shape (looks like a eggsack)

Hey Yak that is a pattern I came up with and it does work well, what isn't aparent is there is an under wing of glassey blue hackle fiber tied short and just enough to add a hint of blue.
I use it in one of the local lakes and if I saw a fish rise and cast it in the rings there was a real good chance of getting it.
Steelheader I like tied down minnows as well they are easy to tieand work good
