Great day today, got there just as the rain was clearing, mainly cloudy with a little sun peeping through.

My fishing buddy and I topped out on 12 inch plus fish the biggest being 16 inch, about the biggest I have seen here. Lost another fly so I guess my leaders came from a bad batch. I was using a 6x 3lb leader 9ft so I took of 2ft where the line was thicker, and that seemed to be do the trick.

52 Buick and a pinky red leach was the order of the day.

Best part was when we finished and a party of Japanese tourists stopped to look at our catch. They were quite impressed. That really made my day.

Next week it will be a lot warmer it probably won't be as good, the lake was 61F at the surface but will warm up quickly soon and the fish won't be a lively. So we will start going to the higher level lakes.

Sorry, no photos, I left my photographer at home.
