Im going there this weekend also it was alot of fun there today so I think im just gonna be going there for a while

I wore my waders and went into the water a little ways casue there was people walking around and i didnt want to hook anyone while casting, as for flies I was useing STREAMERS bright flashy ones and every 2nd to 3rd cast I had a fish on, lots of Fun cant wait to go again
The Yak

thanks for the info fishfreak... hopoefully i can get a chance to put it to some good use...
fish on

Was there yesterday for a bit, no fish, were the fish Broodstalk? Any age can fish there, I'm pretty sure you cant even wade in the lake, Dis you use floating line or a fast sink, I have a problem flycasting with full sink while wading, the line sinks when i strip it in and when i re-cast i have to pull the line out of the water, I guess i need one of those basket things

i was useing a fast sinking line all of them were small rainbows none of them were brood stocks and i fished at the part where you first walk into the lake straight ahead from the walking trail, i cast as close as i can to the island of reeds and do a very slow retrieve and thats all, your not allowed to wade in the lake but i walk in up about half way up my shins just to cast so i dont hook anyone then once im done casting i walk back out onto the beach and do my retrive hope this helps you ??

I am wondering where this Green Timbers lake is can you give me directions I have been to Surrey Lake but have no idea how to get to Green Timbers Lake.
JoHn87

its very close to surrey lake man. Ask Fishfreak for directions. Just keep in mind, thats the bad part of surrey. Last time me and my buddy went to surrey lake, bunch of hoodlums were in his car trying to loot stuff. Just keep that in mind
