Bear: Then try Alouette Lake and Pitt River/Lake, Buntzen or even Sasamat. I don't see the fun in catching 20 IDENTICAL fish and especially when they're almost all going to be the exact same size. It's like catching the same fish 20 times.

And those city lakes are disgustingly dirty, that it grosses me out to even touch the water or my lures from being in those high fecal count cess pools.

Don't have to drive too far to find nicer lakes. Go to Squamish or even Whistler too...GREAT TROUT FISHING.

Hey Sam, your right, I do agree with you. these lakes you mentioned are better than the inner city ones. Its just sometimes they are just easier to get to so people can get their fishing fix. It takes me 2 minutes to get to Como and once on the belly boat your away from all the shore fishermen and its nice. Lafarge lake is 10 minutes from me, so sometimes I go right after work for a few hours or before work for a couple hours and my wife won't be angry at me for a day gone fishing? lol....

I would much rather take my time to go to as many interior lakes as possible. (Even Buntzen and Sasamat are a bit far) but I haven't got the time and I will not go on without fishing just because I'm too good for the inner city lakes. Its a fix after all, a good fix.

Thanks Sam

I do fish Buntzen and Sasamat quite often.I also like to go to Grace , Weaver and Mike. Right now with the weather being cold the dayz shorter and my time restraints I don't venture out to far from home to fish.
In the spring to early summer I fish Squamish(Levette lake)and up to Whistler(Lucille, Needa, Alta) out of my U boat.
In the summer I like to go up country to Hope (lake of the woods,Silver,Jones)and up to Merrit & Kamloops( to many lakes to list) This time of year as I find it too cold to sit in a U boat I fish out of my pontoon or my aluminum.
As all the little local lakes don't allow motors its usually my pontoon.I was just interested as to what was producing locally as I mentioned I don't have alot of time to go fishing nor the will to freeze up and be hours from home and warmth .
