Hey....
I was wondering if anyone would let me in on there favorite streams or rivers to fly for trout? I usualy fish lakes in my float tube and every time I try to research a river or stream they always seems to have low numbers or resricted. Is there any around that might be suitable for catch and release.
Thank everyone

The Thompson is a good one with rainbows to 26 inches, can be challenging for the novice though.

The Nicola is another nice stream with willing bows, access is a challenge on this one.

I was at Skagit last weekend. caught a bunch of rainbow above and around silver tip campground. Also a bully. Its a beautiful river whether you catch fish or not.

There's always great Trout fishing in the Similkameen River. 5-10 minutes pasy Keremeos, therrs a nice entry point that leads down to the rock bed. Just 5 mim before sunkatchers RV park. Great Rainbow trout fishing along this bend

how was the skagit right now?

I'm sure you can match the hatch on the Skagit, but I know that one of my boxes, at least one side of it, is filled with Tom Thumbs in varying sizes and colours.

That is all I need to say about the Skagit.

a skagit trip last year at this time was the best fishing ive ever done in my life, use a mayfly and mosquitoes and bring bug spray!
