Planning to go out fishing to Sayres lake for some trout. Has anyone ever been there? Any good fishing? I am going to fish from shore where a small creek or river comes in with a blue fox spinner, rooster tails, and trout lures. Tips would be great!

I went to sayres when i was a kid and i we were trolling with a wedding band and some wooden oak or something o forget right now ahaha either way trolling kills them, you cant use worms but just make sure you watch for the patrol ahaha but other then belly boating i dont know from shore but either way its a great lake
