I know all of you as great fishermen and great people. I have an idea of where you guys live prior to a post, but i was just wondering . What do you guys do for a living?? I mean if its not too personal .

As for me, im a student, my mother used to work at north seas fishing industries where they gut fish, can them and so forth. my father is a marine technician who owns his own shop, and works in steveston village. So you can see how i like fishing alot

I live in Cloverdale and am a Manager at Scotiabank, currently in North vancouver. Previously, to many readers dismay, a commercial fisherman. I grew up in Campbell River, a fishing town of course and lived only minutes from lakes and rivers and have fished since I can remember. I have been fly fishing for the better part of 4 years and river fishing locally for just a year.

Yes, Campbell river is awsome. Ive been to all places on vancouver island. Tofino, Port hardy, Coal Harbour, Ucluelet and so on. I usually tag along with my dad when he goes to these places to fix fishing boats and so on. This is where i do all my ocean fishing

My dad introduced me to fishing back in Russia, but BC is the major factor in my addiction to the sport Looking forward to learn a lot of things from you guys!

32, live in Samon Arm, grew up in Kamloops. I am a teacher and also do fisheries biology and natural resource science work on the side. Fishing causes me nothing but grief: I am addicted. Have been since I was just a kid. Good friend of my father and I got us both into it. It just kept going from there for me. If I'm not fishing, I'm doing something fish related. I neglect responsibilities to fish, late for appointments, deprive myself of sleep, go hungry, spend all my money on gas... etc. Is there an antidote for this obsession?
