Author Topic: Sea Runs anyone?

Hey, has anyone been out lately for searun Cutties? I'm on a Washington and everyone is having some pretty decent luck and am thinking of heading out to my spot. Just wondering if anyone else has been throwing out Miyawaki poppers or sand lances and Chum-Babies at all...

Of course they were all released as u can only keep the hatchery ones.

I'm not going to ask where because we all know that those who target sea-runs (myself included) like to keep those spots sorta secret, but were you fishing for them on purpose, or were they simply by-catches? And for location, I'll ask was it in Vancouver, Fraser Valley, or Lower Mainlandish (Whiterock/Cresent Beach/Washington)?

Also, since I forgot to say it- Nice Fish! It's good to see they are getting chubby on fry after the spawn (sometimes the first few of the season can sorta be lanky after post-spawn).

They were caught here on the sunshine coast,And yes we were targeting them. The hatchery one i did kill the other day had nothing in its stomach at all,but man was it good eating.
