Hey Guys,

My friends and I are heading up the second week of February. Whats your take on the rivers right now? Does either river have anything you can keep right now? One river doing better than the other?

Also, whats your take on bait? What should we be using if we're going for steelhead for example?

Thanks for the advice.

both rivers a little slow right now but the Vedder is the better right now although it's a bit murky from the rain.

Can use Jensen eggs (#00), spin 'n glo's (mylar wings for murky water, small ones with size 2 hook), 4" or 6" pink worms, roe, roe sacks, purple wool with a little black, and that's all I can think of at 1 a.m.

Good luck !

something else to add to the above reply - if you catch a Dolly Varden - please release them unharmed. They're an endangered species on the Chilliwack River and just starting to make a comeback. Tks again.
