What's 3n and 2n rainbow trout mean?

yeah it does. The 3N is something to do with having an extra chromosome , so they have 3 and 2N is normal which means they have three or something. but the point is i get it now 3n=spawn and 2n=normal lol

Well the idea is to keep the boys out of the lake, apparently they don't taste so good once they are sexually active. The girls however, are rather tasty and they fight like cats, thus making your whole fishing experience more rewarding. So 2N is two time nice, they can produce if there were boys, and 3N is better, they can't.
